Some of you may remember (or have watched re-runs of) the Newhart television sitcom that includes the backwoodsmen brothers Larry, Darryl and Darryl. Darryl and Darryl never speak (until the last episode), and their entrance was always accompanied by the introduction: "Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother Darryl." For your viewing enjoyment, here's a YouTube link to their entrance in the final episode where Darryl and Darryl finally speak.
I'm happy to share with you that the JavaFX book by Eric (Bruno), his brother Jim (Clarke), and his other brother Jim (Conners), has been released. It is entitled JavaFX: Developing Rich Internet Applications.
I'd like to congratulate each of the authors, and give a special kudos to Mr. Clarke. Jim has been instrumental in creating the JavaFX compiler, has contributed much to the JFXtras project, and is a fellow guitar player :-) By the way, when Mr. Clarke informed me that he was writing a JavaFX book he was quick to say that it was not a competing, but rather a complementary treatment of JavaFX to our Pro JavaFX book. Looking at the table of contents of both books bears this out, so I recommend that you order the two-book set ;-)
Congrats again, guys!
Jim Weaver
