This is the home page for the ConferenceBrowserFX application for Jfokus 2012, held 13-15 February in Stockholm, Sweden. From a Windows machine (for now), click the icon on the left to launch ConferenceBrowserFX via Java Web Start. Note: Oracle is working on Mac and Linux implementations of JavaFX 2.1, both currently available in developer preview. |
ConferenceBrowserFX was developed in Java/JavaFX, and provides a quick/easy way to view a conference schedule. You can search for keywords, tags, speaker/company names, or rooms by typing into the search box. The sessions displayed are immediately updated with each keystroke for a tight feedback loop while searching. There is also a dropdown with which you may choose a day to display, and a speaker dropdown with which you can show the presentations for a given speaker. In addition, a tag cloud enables you to click on keywords and instantly see the associated sessions. Here's a screen shot of the application. Please contact me at jim.weaver @ javafxpert.com with any ideas or issues.

Jim Weaver
